According to them, they don’t expect you to have experience because the lessons are designed for learning “shapes and patterns.”

I would like to learn to play piano by ear, is this a good option?

Yes, their method starts off with simple patters and chords without delving into sheet music right off the bat. They will train your ear to be more in sync with the instrument.

Practice makes perfect! The lessons are not very long so, 30 minutes of dedicated practice a day should be a good start. Some will do more, others will do less.

And Some Facts…

Any company can filter their testimonials so that it shows mostly positive. But the sheer amount of them on Piano For All is staggering. Many pianists who are both experienced and inexperienced have claimed that this course has helped them grow at their own pace.

Sometimes you will see fluttery language on their site that claims stuff like “sound like a pro in an instant.” This is not alway the case for everyody because we all learn at different paces. They do this to build up unnecessary hype.

Look at the “Don’t believe the hype?” section toward the bottom. I…I…I… how many I’s can you count? It basically says I HATE hype, but I am going to get you all hyped up anyway… That is exactly why you came here to Deeply Trebled first – to get a trustworthy review and outside perspective!

Now, if you are looking to learn or sharpen your skills rather quickly, then Piano For All is your best bet. The Lessons are planned in increments as to not overwhelm the student.

People who are musically inclined will generally learn much faster. This is not to discourage ANYBODY WHATSOEVER from trying to learn to play piano. If you feel that you have the passion and joy of music in your heart, then you can do it and don’t let anybody else tell you otherwise!

You can use the program on any device, Ipad, cell phone, laptop, you name it!

  1. When I was shopping for an online program for my kids to use to play piano, I did not see this one. I recently went with another program but sometimes kids grow out of programs you put them in. So I will bookmark your post if that happens here. I can tell you that Piano for All has a very attractive price so it is worth investigating.

    • Hey Lee,

You’re definitely right in saying that kids grow out of programs. There is no one-size, fits all when it comes to piano programs, but Piano For All is designed for as many learners as possible. Thanks for saving the site and reading the article. I hope it helps your kids in the future.

And yes, the price is very attractive because it is what most people pay for a single piano lesson person to person!

  2. I feel so glad to have found this wonderful review!

For a long time, I have been looking for the best platform to learn the piano. I even tried evening classes, plus other online tutorials, but they hardly even produced results. Piano For All seems to be the best place I can get that knowledge.

What I liked especially is the fact that the price of the whole course is $39. Despite the tutorials I’ve had, I still hope that as a beginner, Piano For All will be totally worth the time. I’m already considering using this and I think two of my friends (like me!) will be interested too. I’m sharing this post with them right away!

    • Hey John!

So glad you found this article useful! Thank you so much for spreading the word and sharing it with your friends. You seem to be very enthusiastic about what you do so you definitely have what it takes to master piano. If you use the lessons from Piano For All and watch some YouTube videos, you will do fine.  Use the resources at hand, but for $39 bucks, you can’t beat it! I really hope that it is worth your time because you deserve it.

      Hit that treble, man!

  3. Hello Deeply Trebled,
    I enjoy reading your articles.
Last year I used to attend vocals classes and anytime the pianist would be unavailable, we would practice without the correct notes or keys. Problem was, none of us was able to play anything on a piano! I think you have given me a product that is worth trying. That price for lifetime access is pretty awesome.

    • Hey Boniface, welcome back!

I appreciate the support and am glad you like my articles.

It would be pretty impressive if you just sat down and started playing for everyone out of the blue. Now you can show everyone your progress. I’m super glad that you might try Piano For All. You seem like you’re really into it so I admire that. And the price is without a doubt, reasonable.

Keep up the good work. I’m interested in seeing your future progress!

  4. Thanks for the detailed review.

I have been planning on learning piano for years now and every time I come up with some sort of excuse on why I can’t.

Maybe a course will help start and track my progress and since I’m paying for it I might as well dedicate myself

    I will consider it.

I would like to see a top 5 piano courses online if possible?

    • Hey Michael,

Just so you know, I already have written a nice article on the TOP 5 Piano Courses Online, It’s under the Learn how to Play Piano category for convenience. Have a read and let me know what you think!

If playing piano is in the back of your mind and you’re subconsciously thinking about it, then Piano For All will be something that can help you. Learning piano can fun and enjoyable but also difficult at first. You want to maximize your joy from music and learning at your own pace sure helps with anxiety.

It sounds like you’ve got the right mindset so dedication will pay off! Keep up the good work!

  5. $39 seems extremely cheap for an entire piano course. Are there upsells or maybe this is a monthly fee? I used to do piano lessons as a child and would love the chance to take it up again, but the prices for private lessons are exorbitant.

I am scared I won’t have enough time to practice and end up wasting money on a teacher, but doing a course like this one online, you can go at your own pace without having to worry if you don’t get time to practice before your next lesson with a tutor.

    • Hey Michel,

Yes, it is a one-time payment without monthly fees or uspells, so it is very affordable. And yes the price for private lessons is high in most areas so Piano For All is a good option for learning at your own pace.

Don’t be scared about not practicing enough. If you truly want to learn how to play piano then you will find time and enjoy it. If you choose to, you could still take lessons but give Piano For All a chance! You can be your own tutor.

I hope you’ll enjoy playing piano again!

  6. Thanks for reviewing Piano for All.

Ive been told I’m not talented in music, but I still managed to learn to play keyboard when I was a child  now, my passion to try playing piano has been lit due to watching some movies related to piano 🙂 I want to try this to slowly learn  at my own pace. I’m glad there are beginner courses and they expect that the user has no experience. A one-time cost for US$ 39 seems worth it. I will check again the program soon. Thanks again!
